Deadpool & Wolverine is the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie releasing this year, and Marvel Studios’ marketing department is using its full force to promote the film. After Ryan Reynolds launched Aviation Gin’s movie-edition Vasectomy cocktail for Father’s Day in June, he revealed the film’s collaboration with the fast-food chain Jack in the Box. By the looks of it, Wade Wilson has replaced Logan (Hugh Jackman) as his partner, and he’s now seen with the restaurant’s mascot, Jack Box.
In a post on X, Reynolds shared a short clip with Jack Box promoting the return of Jack in the Box’s spicy chicken strips to celebrate the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine. However, while promoting the food basket, priced at $5 and featuring Deadpool’s signature mask and color scheme, the Marvel mercenary switched his head with the mascot.
“Second biggest head I’ve worked with this year,” Reynolds captioned the clip.
Aside from the spicy chicken strips, Jack in the Box has also released its limited-edition Mini Chimi Bang Bangs to support the threequel. Deadpool is known for his love for chimichangas, and to celebrate his return to the big screen, Mini Chimi Bang Bangs is added to the chain’s lineup of small bites, like tiny tacos and mini churros.
The food is now available at the store’s locations nationwide, on the website, and on the app, starting on July 15 and lasting until September 15. The chimichangas come in limited-edition packaging inspired by the movie and are available in classic for $3.50 and sauced and loaded varieties for $4.50. They’re also available in a Fan Favs Box for $10.
But that’s not all Jack in the Box offers. In addition to the celebratory items on the menu, the restaurant also provides big deals. Jack Pack members can earn a $5 Fandango credit when they spend $20 or more online or in the app. Aside from the spicy chicken strips, the waffle sticks also come in special packaging inspired by Deadpool & Wolverine. For the Jack antenna ball fans, the restaurant is rewarding the first 100 customers at each store with a limited-edition Deadpool-theme Jack in the Box antenna ball when they buy a Fan Favs Box during the film’s first-weekend release.
Marvel and Jack in the Box will release 2,000 limited-edition packs featuring Deadpool and Wolverine. Each bag features specially curated art of the iconic mutant antiheroes from their comics and film adaptations. Distribution will take place at its local store in San Diego, though the location details are yet to be revealed.

Deadpool & Wolverine is proving it’s the biggest summer movie of the year with the number of collaborations it has to promote the film. Aside from Jack in the Box and Aviation Gin, fans should watch out for the cinemas’ war of the popcorn buckets.
