There’s high anticipation for the upcoming Marvel movie Deadpool & Wolverine. Aside from being the first Deadpool film under Marvel Studios and Disney, it’s also the first time that X-Men will make their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But if there’s one thing fans have been looking forward to seeing here, it’s the cameos of surprising characters. With the many rumors surrounding the characters' appearances in the film, Karan Soni teases there will be more of it, along with other surprises that viewers need to see.

In an interview with Variety, Soni, who reprises his role as Dopinder in Deadpool & Wolverine, talked about making the threequel and how secretive it is compared to the first two movies. Though careful not to spill any spoilers, he teased fans that they would be surprised by what they were about to see.

“This new MCU version is ultra-secretive,” he said. “There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London.”

Though Marvel has yet to confirm the other characters appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine, Variety claimed that Jennifer Garner would reprise her role as Elektra almost two decades after her 2005 solo movie. There are also rumors that Taylor Swift will have a surprising cameo as Dazzler.

Meanwhile, Soni also revealed he wasn’t surprised when Hugh Jackman joined the franchise. After his character died in the 2017 Logan, the actor is back and will again be seen as Wolverine. The Indian American star dished that when they were still doing Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds was already planning the next installment and told them he had talks with Jackman.

“I remember saying, ‘People are going to flip out!’” he continued.

From there, things started to work out as planned, as 20th Century Fox got sold to Disney, and many more things happened. “Ryan followed through because it was dream casting,” he added.
