Fans will soon see Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and the rest of the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School students in the upcoming Classroom of the Elite Season 3. After being delayed due to “various circumstances,” the anime has officially released the new season’s release date, which is on January 3, 2024, in the new trailer. The preview also reveals its opening theme, along with Arisu warning Kiyotaka. You can see the trailer below:
The preview begins with a scene between Arisu and Kiyotaka, with the latter telling the main character that she will destroy him. However, her plans must wait as she wants to destroy Class B first because “everyone has two sides.”
From there, the opening theme, Minor Peace by ZAQ, starts to play while the rest of the students are revealed inside the school bus. The scene then features a montage of the returning characters, such as Kiyotaka and the 3A students Manabu and Akane, arguing with Miyabi. The 1D group Ken, Hiroharu, and Haruki are then seen together.
The trailer also shows a scene between Honami and Kiyotaka, as they seem to go out together to talk while overlooking a place. As the preview draws to a close, it reveals Kiyotaka saying that Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will be released next year. “At last, the 1st-year arc is complete!” he says.

The ending theme, This World’s Great Revolution, is performed by Yui Ninomiya.
What is Classroom of the Elite Season 3 about?
Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will feature a special exam that all students must take. The students will be divided into groups from different grades, and they all have to reach a borderline score to avoid being expelled. However, as they will be grouped with other students with whom they have competed, they will find it hard to cooperate. From there, a turbulent third trimester is about to begin.

In the third semester, Ayanokoji and his friends were promoted from D class to C class. What will be held there is a special exam called a ``mixed training camp,'' which is held jointly by all grades. As the name suggests, the test is divided into men and women, with several groups that are always mixed from multiple classes, and the test is graded on a group-by-group basis. They have to cooperate with students from other classes with whom they have been fighting. If they don't do it, they won't be able to get a high score, and above all, they will be dropped out. Everyone is horrified. The turbulent third semester, which causes upheaval, is about to begin!
Based on the light novel series of the same name written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose, it started its serialization from May 2015 to September 2019, while a manga adaptation by Yuyu Ichino began in 2016. A sequel, Classroom of the Elite: Year 2, was released in January 2020. The sequel’s manga adaptation with illustrations by Shia Sasane began in December 2021. In 2017, studio Lerche produced an anime adaptation, with the first season released in 2017, followed by the second season in September 2022 and the third season in January 2024.
