The galaxy far, far away has tons of characters throughout its almost five decades in existence. Some may come and go but those from the first movies have become so iconic that a few of them are making a return in whatever way they can. However, is that possible for Natalie Portman's Padmé Amidala?
Star Wars continues to be successful in the small screens as the shows under the franchise deliver a new perspective of the narrative to the audience. Nearing five decades into existence, Star Wars keeps everything enthralling so as to maintain the interest of the people.
The franchise already brought back Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker with the original cast members playing the respective roles returned to reprise their characters from the prequel trilogy. Now that they have come back, can Natalie Portman return as Padmé Amidala in Star Wars?

An online post from X user @blurayangel suggests that the return of Natalie Portman could have something to do with Abeloth, a villain from Legends which Ahsoka has already set up. In Ahsoka, Baylan Skoll found the huge statues of celestial Force gods of Mortis in Peridea. Legends reveal that the Father, Son, and Daughter once lived with Mother, an woman whose name is unknown to be part of their family. With the fear of aging and dying, she corrupted herself through the use of forbidden power, thus, being Abeloth, the Force of pure chaos and entropy.
Baylan Skoll can free Abeloth in the near future. To have Natalie Portman return and become Abeloth who corrupts and manipulates others could be huge for the franchise. Theories suggest that Mother may take on the form of Padmé Amidala in the extragalactic world of Peridea. Just imagine how that would that be with the Force ghost of Anakin!
Padmé Amidala first appeared in The Phantom Menace in 1999 as the teen queen of Naboo. After serving as a royal, she became a senator. She married Anakin Skywalker secretly and their love bore twins, however, Padmé died while giving birth.
After Padmé died, she left Anakin and their children, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. Anakin's pain of losing Padmé drove him into the dark side of the Force, thus, becoming who everyone knows as Darth Vader. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith marked the end for Padmé Amidala.
The titles under Star Wars are now available to stream on Disney Plus.
