What will Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 23 be about?

The official website of Bleach provided the following description for Episode 23 of Thousand-Year Blood War:

The person Giselle had prepared as her next pawn was Hitsugaya, the captain of Squad 10. Ikkaku and friends collapse before the merciless attack of Toshiro, who has turned into a zombie. Toshiro also attacks Mayuri.

The zombified Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya just raised the stakes in the Battle of the Zombies. Hitsugaya's ability in manipulating ice renders him a formidable opponent, and the intensity of the conflict heightens as he directs his weapon towards Mayuri. Nevertheless, Mayuri still has some tricks up his sleeve.

Of course, the bigger problem is still Yhwach's ascension to the Soul King's Palace with Uryu and Haschwalth at his side, and how exactly Ichigo and his allies may be able to stop their plans. While they have a plan to return to the Soul King's Palace, they don't really have much of a strategy for defeating Yhwach. However, that battle will likely have to wait as the final episodes of Bleach: TYBW Cour 2 will be released this month.
