After giving a glimpse of Ma Dong-seok’s, aka Don Lee, fight in the post-apocalyptic Seoul in a teaser, Netflix has now dropped the official trailer for its upcoming original movie, Badland Hunters. The Eternals star will be in a serious battle to survive, and he will be facing not just humans but zombies and different creatures as well. You can check the preview below:
The Badland Hunters trailer begins by showing the ruins after a massive earthquake hits Seoul. This has also resulted in the civilization’s collapse, so fights are happening everywhere. Fed up with this environment, Don Lee leads the brawl and goes on a one-on-one battle against a man. He then introduces himself as Nam San, and the next scene shows a woman needing his help.
Curious about what he’s about to get into, Nam San asks the things he’s about to face. The lady then reveals that one doctor has survived the earthquake. Dr. Yang Gi-su (Lee Hee-jun) promises to help everyone survive and is considered the only hope. But as Nam San and his group make their way to Gi-su’s location, he asks them to go away if they want to stay alive.
From there, the intense fight begins as Nam San attacks Gi-su’s hideout and shoots at the soldiers. However, their enemies aren’t only humans alone, as they also face a group of zombies and a guy with a snake’s eye and a patch of the reptile’s skin.
What is Badland Hunters about?
A sequel to Concrete Utopia, Badland Hunters will feature the post-apocalyptic Seoul after a great earthquake has turned the country into ruins. But aside from the threats of nature, the survivors also have to face their kind as the place has become unruly and is led by the powerful. The film will see Don Lee in the lead, a huntsman about to go on a dangerous mission to save a teenager from a mad doctor.
