Ma Dong-seok, aka Don Lee, is back in another action-packed movie, Badland Hunters. The Netflix original film serves as the sequel to the 2023 movie Concrete Utopia, led by the Gyeongseong Creature star Park Seo-joon together with Park Bo-young, and sees the devastated Seoul after an earthquake. The streamer has now dropped its official teaser, showing the 52-year-old actor leading the fight in post-apocalyptic world.
The Badland Hunters preview begins with Don Lee looking at a board of images after the world has gone to the ruins. As a man being attacked by a crocodile calls for help, Lee appears to save him and starts an intense battle against the bad guys and what looks like a bunch of zombie soldiers.
He’s then seen with two allies as he creates a hole in the wall with his shotgun. Later in the scene, Don Lee uses his machete to decapitate the crocodile without breaking a sweat. “Man, that looks delicious,” he says. As the teaser teases, the world has come to an end, and it calls upon the hunters.
