The final season of Attack on Titan has begun in 2020. Three years since the anime's posed ending, its much-awaited conclusion is yet to be seen. However, it looks like fans will now know when Attack on Titan: The Final Season Finale will finally see the light of day if this leaked release date has anything to go by.
Based on Hajime Isayama’s manga of the same name, Attack on Titan Season 4 is dubbed to be the anime’s final season, which premiered on December 7, 2020. However, a second part was then announced, and it was released on January 10, 2022. Just when fans thought the series would finally conclude, a third and final part was revealed, cutting it in two halves, and the first half was already released on March 4, 2023. As Attack on Titan: The Final Season Finale is believed to be unveiled later this year, will it finally happen?
If this leak is true, then the answer is yes. Twitter user kles7_spotted the finale’s release date on an unlisted video on the Japanese media company Pony Canyon’s YouTube channel. The clip in question is a promotional video for a special program that will be held after Attack on Titan: The Final Season Finale’s release.
The video’s description revealed that the highly anticipated final episode will be released on November 4 at 12 midnight. It also comes with a preview still, though the clip is now deleted.
However, fans are advised to take this assumption with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet. As long as MAPPA Studio, the production company behind the series' animation, has yet to announce its official release date, no one knows when the final episode will officially air.
What will happen in Attack on Titan: The Final Season Finale?
In the third part finale, fans have seen Eren unleash an army of Colossal Titans called the Rumbling. This cataclysmic event involves Karl Fritz’s Wall Titans that march around the world to destroy everything on it. That said, Eren’s friends, Armin and Mikasa, along with Levi, Reiner, and Annie, will do all they can to stop him—even if it means they have to face a former close pal.
