The first two episodes of Star Wars: Ahsoka have officially been released and are currently streaming on Disney+, with tons of positive responses so far. The remaining episodes will continue to be released on a weekly basis, with each episode set to release on Wednesday. Ahsoka follows the story of the young Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she searches for Grand Admiral Thrawn, with the other characters aiding her in her search. Ahsoka features a stellar cast, with Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren as Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and more.

If you are a Star Wars fan, then these characters might sound quite familiar to you. This is because a couple of familiar faces from the Star Wars Rebels series have ended up landing in the Star Wars: Ahsoka show. Dave Filoni, the showrunner of Ahsoka, is also the mastermind behind the epic Rebels series. On top of this, Filoni also voiced the character of Chopper in Rebels when the character was revealed in the series finale.

You can see the entire list of all the Rebels characters that appear in Ahsoka below:

This Star Wars heroine played a major role in the animated series of Star Wars Rebels. Once Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order, she puts her skills and training to use in combat in order to fight against the Empire. The story of Ahsoka in Rebels is filled with surprising twists, such as her own death (before Ezra Bridger changes her fate) while she was fighting against her former mentor, Anakin Skywalker. This was after he had gone over to the dark side as Darth Vader.

In the live-action version of Ahsoka, Rosario Dawson will be playing the titular heroine. Not only this, but Dawson also played the character in The Mandalorian, whereas in Rebels, she was voiced by Ashley Eckstein.

Ezra Bridger

In Star Wars Rebels, Ezra Bridger is a young Force-sensitive who started off as an orphan, having enough street smarts to turn him into a skilled Jedi-in-training. Unfortunately, his story ended once he disappeared after joining Purrgil’s side in order to free Lothal from Imperial control and to capture Thrawn through hyperspace. In Star Wars: Ahsoka, the popular Eman Esfandi will play the role of Ezra Bridger, bringing the character to life.

Anakin Skywalker

Star Wars Rebels features a lot more of Darth Vader than it did Anakin Skywalker, but we all know that there is a human underneath that black armor. In the Disney+ series, Hayden Christensen will be reprising his role from the prequel trilogy, even if it’s for only a couple of flashback sequences.

Sabine Wren

Star Wars is incomplete without the famous Mandalorian warriors, and Sabine Wren is a major part of them. The graffiti artist is one of the first rebels against the Empire and is a valuable asset in the Ghost crew, and it looks like she will also play an important role in Ahsoka’s journey. In Star Wars Rebels, the character wields the Darksaber, a major factor in the storylines of The Mandalorian. Natasha Liu Bordizzo plays the role of Sabine Wren in the live-action version.

Grand Admiral Thrawn

Thrawn is the big, bad wolf in Star Wars: Ahsoka, a fascinating character that somehow entered the canon from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. He’s a genius in disguise, always calculating and planning his next move, and refuses to let anyone surpass him. These qualities make him a force to be reckoned with and is sure to be quite a challenge for the Ghost crew. Lars Mikkelsen voiced the character in Rebels and will also portray the role of the villain in Star Wars: Ahsoka.

Hera Syndulla

Hera used to be a captain of the Ghost Starship due to her excellent piloting abilities till she became a general in the New Republic. Hera is mostly involved with the Rebel Alliance due to the Twi’lek’s father, Cham, who is a freedom fighter called The Hammer of Ryloth. Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays the role of Hera in the live-action Disney+ series.

Chopper

Chopper, also known as C1-10P, is an astromech droid that helps their human friends with navigation as well as repairs of the starship. Chopper is usually found wherever Hera is. Chopper has the ability to kill people, unlike R2-D2, and has killed more than 50,000 people in Star Wars.

Mon Mothma

Mon Mothma is a major figure in the Rebel Alliance and has worked pretty hard to unite several rebel cells against the Empire, owing to the efforts and work she did as a skilled diplomat and strategist. Genevieve O’Reilly has reprised her role as the character from the prequel trilogy and Andor.

Governor Ryder Azadi

Ryder Azadi used to serve under the Empire as the governor of Lothal, but he eventually got tired of the Imperial ways and decided to join the Rebellion. Fortunately for Rebels fans, Clancy Brown will be playing the role in the live-action Ahsoka series after having voiced it for years.
