From Squid Game, Hellbound, Kill Boksoon and Okja to Black Knight to All of Us Are Dead, the K-drama category of Netflix has produced a plethora of breakout successes with innovative storytelling and flawless cast performances. Luckily, besides Squid Game 2, All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has also been confirmed.
On March 21, 2022, Netflix was first reported to be developing All of Us Are Dead Season 2, which is fantastic news for K-drama fans eager to see how this coming-of-age undead apocalypse story will continue. Unfortunately, Netflix has not announced an official release date for All of Us Are Dead Season 2, but we do have a guess. Unlike other prominent Hollywood productions, South Korean content is unaffected by ongoing writers' and actors' guild strikes.
According to Park Ji-hu's interview with Teen Vogue in March 2023, filming for All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has not yet started. At the time of writing, new episodes are anticipated to debut in early 2024.
Director Lee Jae-kyoo, in an interview, divulged that he had “intentionally” made room for All of Us Are Dead Season 2. He told The Korea Herald:
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Cast: Who are the actors included in the upcoming season?

Though quite a few characters died in the zombie outbreak in Season 1, there are a number of cast members fans can expect to return in All of Us Are Dead Season 2, such as Cho Yi Hyun as Nam Ra, Park Ji Hu as On Jo and Im Jae Hyuk as Dae Su. Other stars expected to join the imminent new installment also include Lee Eun Saem as Mi Jin, Bo Yoon as Hyo Ryung, Ha Seung Ri as Ha Ri and Park Solomon as Su Hyeok.
Yoon Chan-young, who portrays Cheong-san, became one of the primary topics when the cast confirmed the news that All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is happening. Although his character appeared to have died in Season 1, it looks like he will make a return for another run – whether he survived the fall and escaped or will appear in flashbacks is currently unknown. We will keep you informed of any casting developments.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Plot: What is the upcoming season about?

Netflix has not yet released official plot details for All of Us Are Dead Season 2, but we are sure there will be many zombies coming. To recall, Season 1 concluded with the aftermath of the Hyosan explosion. Cheong-san and Gwi-nam, apparently, perished in the fire, whereas the surviving pupils reached the quarantine camp.
Nam-ra survives the explosion but as a hambie — a half-human, half-zombie creature with normal intellect but enhanced strength, vision, and agility. After sneaking into the school building with her friends, she bids them farewell and proceeds into the abandoned city, knowing that the military would likely kill her. The forthcoming All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is projected to tackle Nam-ra's fate.
There's also a hint that the virus has spread to Japan, and that's absolutely something All of Us Are Dead Season 2 could explore, whether it's just a hint or the entire story is relocated abroad. Given that All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean production, however, this latter possibility seems unlikely.
Also, Lee Jae-kyoo has made additional significant adjustments to the webtoon, so it may not be the best place to make All of Us Are Dead Season 2 predictions. He stated:
Previously, director Lee Jae-kyoo shared that if the first season can be seen as presenting the survival of humanity, then the second season can discuss the survival of zombies. He added that he hoped the series would inspire viewers to engage in self-reflection, so it's likely that fans will see more of this in All of Us Are Dead Season 2.
On September 26, 2023, Jae-kyoo teased that the sequel will have a evolved zombies while speaking to Osen:
