The Devil's Plan 2, the sequel to Netflix's hit South Korean brain survival reality show, is coming to the platform soon, and the fourteen contestants have officially been revealed. The first season premiered on September 26, 2023, featuring twelve contestants living together for seven days and competing in games of strategy, wisdom, and wit. The players hailed from various fields, and the second season looks just as diverse with two more than its predecessor.

The Devil's Plan 2 cast includes legendary Go player Lee Se-dol, who known for defeating Al AlphaGo; Justin H. Min, who starred in Netflix's Beef and The Umbrella Academy; Super Junior's Kyunhun, one of the hosts of Single's Inferno reality series and who's also known for his multifaceted career in music and variety shows; JTBC anchor Kang Ji-young, who holds a U.S. CPA qualification; Yoon So-hee, a KAIST alumna and actress who graduated early from a science high school; Seven High (Jeong Seung-mook), a music producer and professional poker player; Lee Seung-hyun, former Miss Korea winner and university student; Jung Hyun-gyu, EXchange 2 (Transit Love 2) star and .Seoul National University student.

The rest of the lineup includes Choi Hyun-joon, a model and KAIST student; Chuu, a singer and TV personality; Kim Ha-rin, a plastic surgeon; Park Sang-yeon, the 2021 International Physics Olympiad gold medalist; Son Eun-yoo, an M&A lawyer; and YouTuber and board game master Tino. The fourteen contestants, selected from over 1,000 applicants, will compete in intense brain battles for the title of the ultimate mastermind.

The Devil's Plan 2 was officially confirmed by Netflix following the broadcast of the first season in November 2023. Following its premiere on Netflix, The Devil's Plan rose to the top of Netflix's Top 10 TV series in South Korea, and it entered the Top 10 list in 23 countries. Moreover, it ranked third in the Top 10 TV Shows (Non-English) on Netflix's global charts, showing the impact of South Korea's reality shows.
The Devil's Plan 2 is confirmed to premiere on Netflix in the first half of this year.
