After two weeks of waiting, Akira will finally return to the small screens in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 5, titled Hero of the Dead. The new episode was supposed to be released on August 6, but MBS/TBS network aired a special show in the same time slot instead. Thankfully, the long wait is over, and Episode 5 now has new visuals and an official synopsis.
The anime is based on Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata’s manga series of the same name. Its serialization started in October 2018 in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X. Alternatively, its anime adaptation began in July 2023 and is now getting traction.
The anime’s official website has dropped the new visuals for Zom 100 Episode 5, featuring the incredible duo of Akira and Kencho. In one snap, Akira draws a superhero version of himself, which is one of his childhood dreams. And by the looks of it, this one will finally come true as he is about to face a shark that can walk on land. You can see the new visuals below:
What will happen in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 5?
In Zom 100 Episode 5, Akira is about to meet Shizuka, the woman he once met at the grocery store. After he goes to an aquarium, a major turn of events happens as chaos erupts, and the protagonist needs to save every survivor in the area.
