Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime fans are again up for another waiting game. After delaying the release of Episode 4 for a day, the anime series will experience another delay due to a special program. This time, Zom 100 Episode 5 will not be out after a week.

Written by Haro Aso with illustrations by Kotaro Takata, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead started as a manga series published in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X in October 2018. It was then adapted into an anime series in July 2023, and a live-action adaptation would soon follow.

Sadly, the anime’s official website announced another episode delay after the fourth episode's release. Zom 100 Episode 5 was supposed to be released on Sunday, August 6. However, a special program, called Zom 100 Special Program - 100 Things You Want to Prepare to Escape from Zombies, will be aired instead in the same time slot.

You can read part of the announcement below:

While conveying the charm of the TV anime Zom 100 , we will deliver a special class that seriously thinks about 100 things you want to prepare to escape from zombies-how to survive in the world of zombies! While looking back on the anime scene in the program, we seriously consider, ‘What if a zombie pandemic really happened in this world?’

The said show will be hosted by Panther Mukai, along with Panther Suga and Tom Brown Michio, who will talk to a zombie expert teacher, Ken Okamoto, from Kinki University to discuss how to get out of dangerous situations where zombies attack and threats are close. There will also be an interview with KANA-BOON, who sings the series’ opening theme.
