KONAMI animation is producing the animated shorts. In February 2024, Konami revealed the new studio, coinciding with the release of a Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES anime short to celebrate the card game's 25th anniversary.

Shin Yoshida and Naohito Miyoshi's Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories manga debuted in Shueisha's V Jump magazine in April 2022, featuring the Sky Strikers arc centered on Sky Striker Ace - Raye, who fights to protect her family. This storyline concluded in October 2023.

The Madō Taisen-hen (Magical War arc) of Shin Yoshida and Naohito Miyoshi's Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories manga will begin serialization in the magazine's next issue on May 21. The manga runs alongside the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures manga, launched by Masashi Sato in June 2019, which is also tied to the franchise's Official Card Game (OCG).

The latest anime in the franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, is the eighth main series. It premiered in April 2022, entered its third year in April 2024, and concluded on March 30.
