Mareho Kikuishi and Tsubata Nozaki's mystery sci-fi light novel series is officially getting an anime adaptation, and today, Japanese media company Remow has revealed the first teaser trailer, visual, cast, staff, and April 2025 premiere. The teaser trailer introduces the main characters: Echika Hieda (voiced by Kana Hanazawa) and Harold W. Lucraft (Kensho Ono), and previews the upcoming anime's cyberpunk visuals and crime-focused story. Watch the teaser trailer for Your Forma anime below:

The first key visual for Your Forma anime looks stunning with its neon-bright cyberpunk-style background, and it features the two main characters featured in the trailer: Echikia Hieda and Harold W. Lucraft.
Geno Studio is producing the animation of Your Forma anime, with Takaharu Ozaki (Goblin Slayer, Girls’ Last Tour) as director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) as script writer and series composer. Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan) is designing the characters, and Kato (Dr. Stone) is composing the music of the anime.
Kana Hanazawa and Kensho Ono's comments on their Your Forma anime roles
Kana Hanazawa shared a comment about her role in Your Forma:
I am very happy because I previously voiced Echika in the PV of the novel and didn’t think I would be able to continue in the anime as well. The recording sessions have already finished, but as a fan of the work, I am looking forward to the broadcast to see how the electric investigation scene and Harold’s beauty will be portrayed!
Kensho Ono also shared a comment:
In a world where humanoids called “Amicus” are fully integrated into society, Harold—the character I play—is an Amicus who behaves even more human-like than most humans. He pairs up with Echika, who tends to keep people at arm’s length, and I hope you’ll enjoy watching them gradually grow closer as they solve various cases together.
Mareho Kikuishi, the author of the Your Forma light novel series, also shared a comment about the anime adaptation:

What is Your Forma about?
Your Forma anime is based on the cyberpunk mystery light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Yua Foruma) by Mareho Kikuishi and illustrated by Tsubata Nozaki. The sci-fi series began publication under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2021, and as of August 2023, six volumes have been published. It also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Yoshinori Kisaragi, which was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine from June 2021 to September 2023, with its chapters collected into three volumes.

In an alternate near future, the Your Forma , a miraculous “smart thread” technology initially developed to treat a massive outbreak of viral encephalitis, has become an integral part of daily life. But these convenient devices also record every sight, sound, and emotion their users experience. For Electronic Investigator Echika Hieda, diving into peoples' memories via the Your Forma and hunting for evidence is all part of a day's work. The problem is, she's so adept at what she does that her assistants literally fry their brains trying to keep up with her. After putting one too many aides in the hospital, the top brass finally furnish Echika with a partner on her level, a brilliant yet cheeky android named Harold Lucraft. But can Echika put her prejudices against robots aside to solve the most complex case of her career?
