The first season of X-Men '97 is set to premiere on Disney Plus this Wednesday, March 20, and after Marvel Animation dropped the final trailer, titled Power, earlier today, an official clip has been released, spotlighting a touching moment between Jean Grey and Storm, where Jean opens up about why she's feeling guilty over her thoughts that she's had about her baby. The official synopsis of X-Men '97 Season 1 reads:
The revival revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future". The show will explore new stories in the iconic 90s timeline of the original X-Men: The Animated Series.
Beau DeMayo serves as the head writer of the series, and the episodes are directed by Chase Conley, Jake Castorena, and Emi Yonemura. X-Men '97 is executive produced by DeMayo, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Victoria Alonso.
