X-Men '97 Episode 8 Clip Shows Cable Teaming-Up with Cyclops & Jean Grey

X-Men '97's Tolerance is Extinction storyline is about to kick off with the premiere of the show's eighth episode tomorrow, and fans can expect the Summers fight some Prime Sentinels in it. In the new X-Men '97 Episode 8 clip released by Marvel Animation, Cyclops (voiced by Ray Chase), Cable (Chris Potter), and Jean Grey (Jennifer Hale) team-up to take down the Prime Sentinels, promising an action-packed ride with all three mutants unleashing their powers while riding on a sedan.

Last week's episode ended on a cliffhanger that revealed that Bastion (voiced by Theo James) is the mastermind behind many of the first season's events, including the tragedy at Genosha that left fans shocked, but the X-Men haven't given up, and we can expect the Summers and the rest of the team to fight back in the remaining three episodes of X-Men '97 Season 1. "Don't screw with the Summers," the official description of the video from Marvel Animation reads. "Dive right into Marvel Animation's all-new #XMen97. New episode streaming tomorrow only on @DisneyPlus." The X-Men will get extra help with Cable, a.k.a. Nathan Summers, the son of Cyclops, who traveled from the future, and it looks like he will play an important role in stopping Bastion, Mister Sinister, and the Prime Sentinels.

We can see Cable fighting alongside his father, Cyclops, and Jean Grey in a sedan while being chased by Prime Sentinels - humans who now have Sentinel technology on their bodies. Bastion is commanding the Prime Sentinels to terminate the X-Men, with Boliver Trask being the latest example. It's exciting to see the Summers fight together in this clip, and we can expect more action-packed scenes in the final three episodes of the hit animated series.
