Haruka Sakura officially became a member of Bofurin after attending his first day of class at Furin High School. Though things have become intense initially, with Kyotaro Sugishita attacking Sakura, everything changes when Hajime Umemiya makes his voice heard. However, a fight almost ensues when Sakura and Sugishita attack a Shishitoren member in their territory. In the new preview for Wind Breaker Episode 4, titled Collision, Umemiya will hear what Sakura did, resulting in their first intense meeting.
Wind Breaker Episode 4 has only dropped four preview stills to give a glimpse of what will happen next. The first still shows Sugishita and Sakura together. Though these two have their differences, it looks like they have finally made amends. The next one shows Hayato Suo with a fellow Bofurin member with a swollen eye. By the looks of it, the group has been in trouble again, though it remains to be seen whom they fight against.
Hiiragi Touma is then seen talking to someone on his phone. With his gritted teeth, he seems to be in a heated conversation with an enemy. The last still shows Sakura finally meeting Umemiya personally. Though the protagonist is ready for action, thinking the Bofurin leader will attack him after what he and Sugishita did, Umemiya only taps his head to the surprise of everyone around them.

What to Expect from Wind Breaker Episode 4
Wind Breaker Episode 4 will see someone telling Umemiya about what happened to Touma at the boundary between Shishitoren and Bofurin. But instead of reprimanding Sakura, Umemiya will tap his head and thank him for protecting his family. This will make Sakura confuse, thinking Umemiya will attack him after what he did. From there, a voice will echo in the schoolyard, screaming, “Tanomo.”

The Shishigashira Ren, an absolute faith in ‘power,’ is a team whose trademark is an orange Skajan jacket that divides the area next to Boufuurin. They cause a conflict in order to protect the middle school students of the city from the Shishigura Ren and the vice president of the Shishigashira Ren... Sakura receives a declaration of war from Tokamejo. When he goes to tell Umemiya about what happened with Touma Hiiragi, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of ‘Boufurin.’ instead of being criticized, he is patted on the head, saying, ‘Thank you for protecting my family.’ While Sakura is confused by this strange feeling, an innocent and alien voice echoes in the schoolyard, saying, ‘Tanomo!’
The anime is based on the manga with the same title by Satoru Ni. It has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket since January 2021 and has collected 16 tankobon volumes as of March 2024. CloverWorks then produced its anime adaptation, premiering in April 2024 and releasing three episodes so far.
