In just a few weeks, Venom: The Last Dance will hit theaters worldwide, and now a TV spot has been released to hype superhero (and supervillain) movie fans up. Venom: The Last Dance is being billed as the final chapter in Sony Pictures' Venom saga, and it looks like the black symbiote and his host, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) will have to face an enemy from Venom's past. The latest TV spot shows a swarm of symbiotes invading the planet. It looks like Venom's creator (most likely Knull, who's rumored to be played by Andy Serkis) is leading the assaunt on Earth, and it's up to Eddie and Venom to work together to save the planet.
"Eddie, my home has found us," the symbiote tells Eddie in the Future TV spot for Venom: The Last Dance. The previous teasers for the third Venom film showed symbiote hellhounds attacking Venom on top of an airplane in the sky before, and it looks like the symbiote hivemind where Knull resides will be Eddie and Venom's target. We also see footage of a waterfall and an army base, with Venom making menacing facial expressions after every attack. The coolest part of this is seeing Venom riding a motorcycle while being chased by the swarm of symbiotes. Watch the latest TV spot for Venom: The Last Dance below:
Is Venom: The Last Dance Tom Hardy's last Venom movie?
Tom Hardy already confirmed that Venom: The Last Dance will be the last time he plays Venom, so we can expect it to wrap up the trilogy.
"Thank you for a great time – and seven years. I've had the best experience [Sony] working with Venom," Hardy recently shared on social media. "This is me and the big guy's last outing, going out with a Bang!!! Come see us off – last in the trilogy and done."
Of course, there's always a chance for Hardy to reprise his role as Venom in the future, perhaps in a Spider-Man movie. Fans have been expressing how they would love to see his Venom face Tom Holland's Spider-Man, but it looks like that will not be happening anytime soon.
Venom: The Last Dance is scheduled to hit North American theaters on October 25. In some countries, the film will be released on October 23 or 24. The threequel also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, Stephen Graham, Clark Backo, and Cristo Fernandez.
