Riot Games has officially revealed the first new VALORANT Agent of 2025: Tejo, along with his explosive abilities, including an ultimate that essentially calls in an aistrike on the map.
Tejo, Agent 27, hails from Colombia, and as previously leaked, his role is Initiator. His masculine figure and yellow-tinted sunglasses give him a cool demeanor, and it looks like he has some powerful military tech backing him. Riot has shared a breakdown of Tejo's abilities that seem to be stronger on Attack than Defense.
His explosive kit includes Special Delivery, which is a sticky grenade that will concuss enemies in its blast radius. You can either make it stick to the first surface it taches, or with the alt-fire, you can make it bounce once before sticking.
Tejo's Stealth Drone is a stealthy piece of recon gear that you can fully control. While controlling it, you can fire a pulse that suppresses and exposes any enemies that it hits.
His third ability is called Guided Salvo, which lets you select two spots on the map that you can send guided missiles to. Once they arrive on their target location, they'll explode and damage players.
As for his ultimate, it's called Armageddon, and it's essentially an expansive, rolling airstrike that covers a massive area. You pick the the start point and end point of the ultimate barrage, and a wave of explosions will strike on the path you made. It seems that there's not a lot of ways to avoid its impact. The powerful explosion could force enemies to clear a site that you're attacking or disrupt any attempts to defuse the Spike.

Tejo will be available to unlock this Wednesday, January 8, 2025, when Valorant Season 2025 // Act I launches, which is also expected to release a new Battle Pass, weapon skin bundle, and introduce a brand new type of cosmetic called Flex. Riot unveiled that Flex items are little items that players can show off in the game but doesn't affect the performance of your gameplay.
“Like you know with melee weapons, spamability is really important,” said VALORANT's product lead for player expression, Jack Flannery. “We wanted to take that entire experience and put it into its own content type.”
Riot revealed two Flex items in the video: a smartphone-style gadget that you can interact with, and it looks like it will be free for all players. The second, which you can unlock in the Act 1 Batte Pass, is pretty much a huge snowflake that you can spin around in the palm of your hand. Of course, we can expect more Flex objects to come out in the future.
Riot Games also released a 2025 Kickoff trailer for VALORANT, which features Tejo:
