Undead Girl Murder Farce anime is about to begin its second arc, Diamond Scramble Arc, and the series has dropped a new trailer, new visuals, and additional cast members to give fans a glimpse of what new adventures they are about to see. After the end of Vampire Arc, the second part will see the trio of Aya Rindo, Tsugaru Shinichi, and Shizuku Hasei meet the great Sherlock Holmes, Watson, Arsène Lupin, and more in this supernatural mystery anime.
Based on Yuugo Aosaki and Oh! Great’s novel series, Undead Girl Murder Farce, tells the story of a detective known as the “cage user.” He is called to solve the case of the murder of a vampire’s wife, but there’s something about this detective and the curtained birdcage he carries.
The anime’s official website released the synopsis of its second arc, which will start in the upcoming Episode 5, titled Immortal in London. Here the great phantom thief, Arsène Lupin, and the world’s best detective, Sherlock Holmes, are about to join the series.

The series’ website also announced the coming of additional cast members, like Shin'ichirō Kamio as Reynold Stinghart, Sara Matsumoto as Fatima Double Darts, Hideaki Tezuka as Phileas Fogg, Hidenari Ugaki as Passepartout, Taiten Kusunoki as Lestrade, and Kousei Hirota as Ganimard.
The previously announced cast who will be part of the second arc is Tomoyo Kurosawa as Aya Rindo, Taku Yashiro as Tsugaru Shinuchi, Makoto Koichi as Shizuku Hasei, Sayumi Suzushiro as Annie Kerber, Shinichiro Miki as Sherlock Holmes, and Masaki Aizawa as John H. Watson. It also includes Mamoru Miyano as Arsene Lupin, Hiro Shimono as Phantom, Wataru Yokojima as James Moriarty, Tomokazu Sugita as Aleister Crowley, Reina Kondo as Carmilla, Itaru Yamamoto as Victor, and Sōma Saitō as Jack the Ripper.

What is Undead Girl Murder Farce About?
Originally a novel series, Aosaki launched this story in 2015. It was then adapted into a manga series by Haruka Tomoyama, published in Kondansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in June 2016.
It then moved to the Nemesis magazine in June 2017 and again to the Comic Days website in September 2018. Kodansha published the novel’s third volume in April 2021.
