Makoto Misumi is back for another epic adventure in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2. However, as a new studio, J.C. Staff, will be handling the second season following a first-season anime adaptation by C2C, the anime has now released its additional cast members in a new trailer.
The trailer begins with Hibiki Otonashi, who will be played by Ai Kakuma, a high school girl who has been summoned to another world. Hibiki starts to fight the mythical beings, followed by the introduction of Belda North Limia, played by Chiharu Sawashiro, the young knight of the Kingdom of Limia.
From there, a montage of scenes begins, featuring the other characters, like Tomoe, who will be voiced by Ayane Sakura, Mio, whose voice actor is Akari Kito, and Knowledge, played by Kenjiro Tsuda. As the intense fights begin, Makoto is seen unleashing his great power.

Behind the scenes, Shinji Ishikawa directs Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2, with Kenta Ihara as the series composer. In addition, Yukie Suzuki joins the series as the character designer and Yasuharu Takanashi as the music composer.
What is Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy about?
Based on the Japanese light novel of the same name written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy follows the story of Makoto, an average teenager who was summoned to another world as a hero. However, as the goddess of this new world he’s in finds him ugly, she removes her hero status and sends him to the ends of the earth. The wasteland is full of dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and other beings. Here, he manages to use his powers and fighting abilities that he can’t do in his world.
But being with non-human races poses a great threat to Makoto. As he tries to live a new life after being abandoned by the gods and humanity, can he survive?

Makoto Fukasumi, a high school boy, was once summoned to another world due to his parents' circumstances and was supposed to fight the demons as a hero. However, after being criticized by the goddess who summoned him as "ugly," he was immediately stripped of his title of hero. He is thrown into the remotest wilderness. Branded as a disqualified hero, Makoto wanders through the wilderness and begins a journey to reform the world in another world, accompanied by Tomoe, a high-ranking dragon who has become his follower, and Mio, a black spider of disaster. Along the way, Fukasumi's party repeats various encounters and farewells and defeats the villains that are infesting the other world. Furthermore, they overcome the war with the demons who were drawn into the whims of the goddess, and their journey continues to the school's neutral city, Lotzgard, and to two heroes they have never seen before!
