It may still take more than a week before Tokyo Revengers Season 3, aka Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc, releases, but the anime is already hyping up its return to the small screens. As early as now, it has already dropped the first look at its premiere episode, led by, of course, Takemichi.
Based on the Japanese manga series by Ken Wakui, the series has become one of the best-selling manga of all time, with over 70 million copies in circulation. Though its manga had already ended in November 2022, its story continues in Tokyo Revengers Season 3.
The anime’s official website has revealed the preview stills for the new season’s upcoming premiere episode. It shows Takemichi meeting the Tenjiku gang, led by Tetta Kisaki. And by the looks of his wounded face, a great battle might have erupted.
One still sees Kisaki towering over the poor Takemichi as he seems to be kneeling on the ground, while another shows Kani Mochizuki, one of the Four Heavenly Kings, giving a malicious grin. The next previews feature wounded Atsushi Sendo, Chifuyu, and Kazushi Yamagishi.

What will happen in Tokyo Revengers Season 3 Episode 1?
The anime’s website seemingly feels generous enough to reveal the official synopsis of Tokyo Revengers Season 3 Episode 1 this early. Titled The Longest Day, the Tenjiku gang will come to Shibuya to face Tokyo Manji. And by an unfortunate twist of fate, Takemichi, Mizonaka 5 members, and Chifuyu happen to run into them and are attacked by surprise.
As Tenjiku outnumbers Takemichi’s group, they are easily defeated, as evident by the bruises on their faces. Later, Mochizuki suddenly appears, along with Kisaki, making things more intense.

Yokohama's team ``Tenjiku'' came to Shibuya to crush the Tokyo Manjikai. Takemichi, Mizonaka 5 members, and Chifuyu just happened to run into the Tenjiku members and were attacked by surprise. Takemichi and his friends struggle alone, but they are unable to compete against them due to the overwhelming difference in numbers. In a desperate situation, Mochizuki Kanji (Mochizuki), one of the Four Heavenly Kings, also appears, following Kisaki in a T-shirt kamikaze uniform, and is pushed further into the brink of despair.
What is Tenjiku Arc about?
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 will adapt the manga’s fifth arc, Tenjiku Arc. Hence, the title Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc. Here, a new criminal organization called Tenjiku will be introduced. Led by Izana Kurokawa and Kisaki, it’s their mission to seek revenge against the Tokyo Manji Gang. It will also see the conflict between Kisaki and Takemichi as the latter wants to become stronger to stop his evil plans.
