After just six months of waiting, Takemichi and the rest of the gang will return to Tokyo Revengers Season 3, aka Tenjiku Arc. And to excite fans of what’s to come, the anime has dropped a new trailer and preview still, focusing on the new antagonists who will torment Mikey and company. Also, its official release date and streamer have been revealed.
Based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Ken Wakui, it started its serialization in 2017 and has become one of the best-selling manga of all time, with over 70 million copies in circulation. Liden Films adapted it into anime, with its first season airing from April to September 2021, followed by the second season from January to April 2023. And for just a few months, Tokyo Revengers Season 3 is about to come.
The anime’s official website dropped the second Tokyo Revengers Season 3 trailer. It begins with an image of Emma Sano telling Mikey to do what he likes. Mikey then says he has left Black Dragon. From there, Kakucho appears, and he's being attacked by the wounded Takemichi. It also features another Tokyo Revengers Season 3 antagonist, Izana Kurokawa.

In addition, the anime also released a new preview still for Tokyo Revengers Season 3. Here, Mikey can be seen standing side-by-side with Izana. Though the latter is smiling, Mikey looks serious and fierce. The new season’s ending theme was also revealed: Say My Name by Hey Smith.
What is Tokyo Revengers Season 3 about?
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 is based on the fifth arc of the manga, Tenjiku Arc. Here, Takemichi returns to the present only to discover that things aren’t as smoothly as he wants to.
Their rival gang, Tenjiku, led by Izana and Tetta Kisaki, declares war against Manji, resulting in dire consequences for Mikey and the rest of the members. Manga fans probably know what happens here, but as we don’t want to give anything away, a lot of big things are about to happen here.
When and where Tokyo Revengers Season 3 will be released?
Tokyo Revengers Season 3 will be officially released on October 3. In Japan, fans can see it on the local channels MBS, TV Tokyo, and ATX, while international audiences can stream it on Disney+.
After ending the previous season with the introduction of Izana, fans are now looking forward to seeing how this new antagonist will torment the fan-favorite gang members. Of course, Takemichi will do his best to stop his and Kisaki’s evil plans, and it’s a must-see how he will do it.
