The end is nigh for The White Wolf and his family. Netflix has dropped the final trailer for The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 and it confirms that Geralt of Rivia will need to lead Ciri and Yennefer in their last stand. Additionally, the teaser is set up to highlight the fact that the upcoming episodes are the last ones featuring Henry Cavill.
It has already been confirmed that Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer will be facing something truly deadly in The Witcher Season 3. The first half of the current season established that the trio found comfort in each other and have finally started acting like a real family. Unfortunately for them, their peaceful life doesn't last long as Rience found them.
There is not a lot of fresh footage in the new trailer as it once again features scenes from The Witcher Season 3 Volume 1. However, it does confirm that something truly big is coming and it threatens to tear Geralt apart from Ciri and Yennefer. Will they manage to stay together or is this finally the end for the White Wolf and his beloved family?
There's a good reason why Netflix is hyping up the second volume of The Witcher Season 3. It has already been confirmed that Henry Cavill has left the series and will not be returning as Geralt of Rivia in the fourth and fifth season. Nevertheless, the streamer is making sure fans will tune in to Cavill's final episode with the show. Hopefully, it will work and people will be hit by all the emotions in the upcoming three episodes.
The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 will only consist of three episodes but they appear to be truly action-packed. The second half of the third season will premiere on Netflix on July 27, 2023.
