The newly-opened X (formerly Twitter) account of the upcoming anime adaptation of Koyoshi Nakayoshi's The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World manga series has revealed a new trailer, teaser visual, cast, and details. It's also confirmed that the isekai adventure comedy anime is set to premiere in Japan in January 2025. The first trailer highlights the superhero abilities of the Super Sentai-inspired red ranger, Tougo Asagaki, and based on the footages shown, it looks like we will see a lot of comedic moments in the anime.
The trailer also reveals production staff details, which includes Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Frame Arms Girl, Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU/SOTSU) as director, Atsuhiro Tomioka (Pokémon, BEM 2019) as series screenwriter, Shuji Maruyama (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, 365 Days to the Wedding) as co-chief animation director and main character designer, and Koichiro Kameyama (Happy Sugar Life) as the anime's music composer. Satelight is the studio producing the animation for the series.

What is The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World about?
The anime is based on the isekai comedy adventure manga of the same title (Japanese: Sentai Reddo Isekai de Bōkensha ni Naru)by Koyoshi Nakayoshi, which was first published in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine on October 12, 2020. As of August 2024, seven tankobon volumes have been published. Square Enix, which also started digitally releasing the manga's chapters in English on its Manga Up! global service in May 2023, shared a plot description for The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World:
Asagaki Togo was the Red Ranger in a heroic Ranger squad. During their final battle against the ultimate evil organization, he suffers a crushing defeat and resigns himself to death... That is, until he finds himself reborn in an entirely different world! Embracing his new role as an adventurer, he transforms into Kizuna Red and continues his pursuit of justice, helping those in need. Enjoy this heroic tale of a Ranger becoming the protector of another world!
