The audiences already know that Park Seo Joon is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Marvels later this year but his role in the highly anticipated sequel is still undisclosed. So, is the Parasite star going to be a significant part of the upcoming film? An interesting detail about the new character has just been revealed and it looks like he's someone important to Carol Danvers.

Back in 2021, it was announced that Park Seo-joon would be joining the cast of The Marvels but his role was undisclosed. It didn't take long for fans to begin speculating about the comic book character Park will be playing in the sequel. Additionally, people were concerned that the Itaewon Class actor had been cast as a villain who would face off against Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan.

For now, Marvel Studios has not yet revealed the identity of Park's character. However, The Marvels producer Mary Livanos assures fans that he will be an "ally to Carol" in the film (via Entertainment Weekly).

This is great news considering that Park's fans want him to be one of the good guys and not have to fight the superheroes so he could return in more MCU projects. If he's working with Captain Marvel, there is a huge chance that he will be back in the future.

But who is Park Seo-joon playing in The Marvels? Leaked merchandise confirms he has been cast as Prince Yan, a comic book character who marries Carol Danvers. However, it is important to point out that the information has not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios so it is best to take this with a grain of salt.
