In a couple of weeks, viewers will finally unravel the mystery surrounding the peaceful pension home in the middle of the woods and the mysterious guest Seong-a, played by Sweet Home star Go Min-si, in The Frog. A new mystery thriller K-drama on Netflix, this show promises to disturb viewers' minds with secrets to be revealed and darkness to be unveiled. So, to give a glimpse of that enigma, Netflix has dropped the official trailer for The Frog, teasing how an unwelcome guest disrupts Kim Yoon-seok and Yoon Kye-sang’s peace.

You can watch The Frog trailer below:

The Frog trailer begins by showing the relaxing landscape of the woods, where a run-of-the-mill motel in a country town can be found. As Kye-sang (Sang-joo) prepares to clean the place, Yoon-seok (Young-ha) starts washing the pool. But while the business is doing good, an unwelcome guest arrives. Kye-sang reveals a madman stays at his hotel while a mysterious man is seen climbing the stairs carrying an unconscious woman on his shoulder. From there, his peaceful life starts to be destroyed.

The scene then shifts to Min-si as she enjoys her time on the lake while Yoon-seok finds traces of blood on the bathroom mirror. Like Kye-sang, he reveals a crazy person in his vacation home, too. Little does he know that Min-si is watching over him. As the two share a meal, Min-si asks him to sell her the pension house.

By the looks of it, Yoon-seok disagrees, making Min-si upset and start ruining the vacation house. An investigation ensues, with police officer Lee Jung-eum (Bomin) gathering evidence that looks useful to get rid of a body. Min-si is seen digging in the ground while Jung-eum arrives at the holiday cottage.

“What have you done now,” Yook-seok asks as Kye-sang cries over the blood on his hands.

When Yoon-seok meets Jung-eum at the front door, Min-si says someone may come to look for her. Different turns of events start to play, with Min-si burning her clothes, Yoon-seok putting some files on fire, and Kye-sang breaking the frames on the wall with a fire extinguisher. As Kye-sang wonders what he has done wrong, a mysterious man, played by EXO’s Chanyeol, with a gun appears while Yoon-seok is being held captive.

“A frog got hit by a stone thrown carelessly,” Kye-sang says as Min-si prepares to hit a man on the street with her car. Things get pretty intense as an explosion erupts; Jung-eum runs into the middle of the field; Yoon-seok slams Min-si’s head on the table, and an unseen woman throws Min-si on the ground.

“Do you know what they call people like us?” Kye-sang asks before a frog croaks.
