The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 is one of the most highly-anticipated isekai anime shows releasing in Fall 2023 anime season, and the preview for Episode 1, titled Lawless City, has been released. The trailer shows Claire taking Cid to a slum known as the Lawless City with the mission to exterminate vampires, but it looks like he will get separated from Claire as he gets up caught up in the commotion caused by the Red Moon.

Just like the first season, the latest episodes of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will be avaiable to stream on HIDIVE. Episode 1 is scheduled to premiere on October 4.
What is The Eminence in Shadow about?
The Eminence in Shadow is based on the Japanese light series of the same title (Japanese: 陰の実力者になりたくて!, Hepburn: Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) written by Daisuke Aizawa. Since 2018, Enterbrain has been serializing it in Japan with Tozai's illustrations. Kadokawa Shoten also serialized a manga adaptation by Anri Skano. Both the light novels and manga series are being published in English by Yen Press. The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will be based on Volume 3 of the light novel.
