The Eminence in Shadow isekai anime is getting a film follow-up titled The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes. The production team shared an "ultra teaser visual" along with the announcement, and as you can see below, it shows gravestones in a ruined modern city with tall destroyed buildings. This is likely the preview of the main setting of the anime movie, and it's clearly a tease of the destruction we will see, and it'll likely be the result of the Shadow Garden's battles.

The Eminence in Shadow Season 1 premiered in October 2022, and it consisted of 20 episodes which aired over two cours. The second season, which began broadcasting in October of this year, concluded today after running for 12 episodes.
The TV anime is based on The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) Japanese light novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Azunishi. Enterbrain has been publishing the series with Tozai's illustrations since 2018. The series also received a manga adaptation with art by Anri Sakano, and it was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Comp Ace since December 2018. Outside of Japan, The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will be available to stream on HIDIVE, just like the first season of the anime.
