Kadokawa has released a new main trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Sarase Nagase's The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor (Yarinaoshi Reijō wa Ryūtei Heika o Kōryaku-chū) light novel series, and the production team also revealed the theme songs and new visual for it. The opening theme song Awaku Kasuka (Faintly Dim) is performed by sajou no hana, and the ending theme song Gradation is performed by HaNaTan. The trailer highlights the interactions between the anime's two titular main characters, the protagonist Jill and Emperor Hadis.

What is The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor about?
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor is based on the light novel series written by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by Mitsuya Fuji, which began in 2020. As of April 2023, six main volumes have been published by Kadokawa Shoten, and a short story collection was released in February 2024. The story originally started as a web novel on the user-generated novel publishing site Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019.

The fantasy series also received a manga adaptation with art by Anko Yuzu, and it has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine since July 2020, and it has been collected in six tankobon volumes.
