The second promotional video follows Jinshi as he confronts his role as imperial younger brother while a rumored immortal woman stirs unrest and a looming disaster hangs over the country. Maomao stands with him as the story moves beyond the rear palace into the streets and toward neighboring lands. The clip teases a mysterious celestial figure, hints at the threat facing the nation, and closes on the current emperor’s remark about Yue choosing a flower, paired with Jinshi’s quiet line of resolve and sorrow.
Akinori Fudesaka is directing Season 3 at OLM, with Wataru Nakagawa serving as assistant director. Norihiro Naganuma handles series composition, while Yuko Kakkihara, Misuzu Chiba, and Hitomi Ogawa write the scripts. Yukiko Nakatani designed the characters, and the score comes from Satoru Kosaki, Kevin Penkin, and Arisa Okehazama. The first cour begins October 2, the second cour follows in April 2027, and an original-story film is scheduled for December 11.
