Chise will soon return in The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2. The anime is now on a break following the ending of its part. And to give fans some update, the series has unveiled a new trailer and the second part’s opening song.
The anime is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki. It is serialized in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden and is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. It was adapted into anime in 2016 by Wit Studio, and the second season’s first cour was released from April 6 to June 22 by Kafka. The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2 will soon come.
The anime’s official website has dropped a new trailer for The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2. It reveals the new drama surrounding the protagonist Chise and her schoolmate, Philomela. It also features a college lockdown, the investigation of the missing grimoire, and the battle against Fabio Zaccheroni.
In the latter part of the preview, Lizbeth Sargant can be seen telling Philomela that she’s now different. “Why is that?” the Sargant matriarch asks. “I don’t know, but I just can’t take it,” Philomela answers.
From there, a major turn of events is seen, while the new opening song, Nemurasareta Lineage, by JUNNA, who also performed the first season and the second season’s first part’s songs, plays in the background. You can check the trailer below:

The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 sees Chise finally accepting Elias and herself. She even manages to return to her normal life after Cartaphilus dozed off. From there, she receives an invitation for mages from a mutual aid organization. You can read the synopsis below:

Then she receives an invitation from a mutual aid organization for mages called the College. Under the British Library exists a secret society of mages. Encounters and interactions with people are about to open some new doors. This is a story about saving yourself to save another.
