That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 is one of the most highly-anticipated isekai anime shows coming in 2024, and its production team has just revealed a new trailer, key visual, and an April 2024 premiere date. The opening theme song of the upcoming season, titled PEACEKEEPER, will be performed by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION. Studio Eight Bit is animating the third season, which is confirmed to air in two consecutive cours.
The returning staff from Season 2 includes Atsushi Nakayama as director, Toshizou Nemoto (Backflip!!) is as the series composer, Ryouma Ebata as character designer, Takahiro Kishida as monster designer, Ayumi Satou as art director, Hiroshi Satou as photography director, and Maki Saitou as color designer.

What is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime about?
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, also known as Tensura, anime is based on Taiki Kawakami‘s manga adaptation of the light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, which is serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius and published under the Sirius KC label. The Kodansha-published manga debuted in 2015 and as of September 2023, it has 24 tankoubon volumes. The TV anime adaptation by
Eight Bit currently has 48 episodes split across two seasons, and the franchise also released a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which adapted one of the manga spin-off series. A film titled Scarlet Bond was released in 2022, and the most recent installment in the isekai franchise is a three-episode OVA titled Coleus' Dream, which was released earlier this year.
Crunchyroll shared a plot synopsis for the anime:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 is expected to premiere on Crunchyroll, where the first two seasons of the anime are available to stream.
