With only a few weeks away until the premiere of Suicide Squad ISEKAI, Warner Bros. Japan and Studio Wit have recently been releasing character trailers for the anime series featuring popular anti-heroes/supervillains of the DC universe. The third character trailer released today puts Floyd Lawton, a.k.a. Deadshot in the spotlight, and based on the new footage revealed in the latest character trailer, we can expect the world's deadliest marksman to use his assassination skills to take down monsters in the fantasy realm that he and his team of criminals will explore.

Deadshot in Suicide Squad ISEKAI is voiced by Reigo Yamaguchi, who's known for his roles in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Undead Unluck, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, and Edens Zero. Earlier this month, the production team of Suicide Squad ISEKAI released character trailers for Harley Quinn and Joker. We can expect the rest of the team to get their own trailers as we get close to the anime's July 2024 premiere.
Suicide Squad ISEKAI is directed by Eri Osada at Studio Wit, with Naoto Hosada and Akira Amano (Psycho-Pass) in charge of the character designs. Eiji Umehara and Tappei Nagatsuki are working on the screenplay while Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music.

What is Suicide Squad ISEKAI about?
Suicide Squad ISEKAI will feature popular anti-heroes/supervillains from the DC Comics series that was modernized by John Ostrander after its main characters made their debut in The Brave and The Bold comics from the 1950s. The anime will feature Harley Quinn and her infamous team of criminals, including Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark as they are sent into a fantasy world where they will face enemies they've never encountered in the DC universe before.

In the crime-ridden city of Gotham, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that’s connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI”! With lethal explosives planted in their necks, there’s no running or hiding, and failing the mission means a one-way ticket to the afterlife!
