As soon as the Hollywood strikes ended last year, Strange Things Season 5 started production in January, preparing for a grand battle between Eleven and a fearsome monstrous creature, Vecna. The show premiered in 2016 to great success, becoming one of Netflix’s flagship series and creating a huge fan base with its critical response and positive reviews. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and Millie Bobby Brown teases it will have an “unbelievable” finale.

Stranger Things has captivated fans with its every-season release, and its latest installment has left everyone hanging in their seats now that Vecna is trying to merge the Upside Down with Hawkins. With a cliffhanging fourth-season finale, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Stranger Things Season 5. That said, Brown has promised an epic saga as their battle against the hostile alternate dimension draws to a close.

In an interview with Screen Rant, the actress praised the show's creators, the Duffer Brothers Matt and Ross, for making the final episodes exciting. Though she still kept things under wraps about the final season, she knew everyone was super excited about it. So, if fans had loved the previous installments, she said they should trust the Duffers again this time.

There's not much I can tease, but I know everybody's super excited. I just think if you've loved the seasons before, you trust the Duffers. They're geniuses, and they'll bring it like no other. And from what I've read, it is unbelievable, and I'm so excited for people to see it.

Millie Bobby Brown Ready to Say Goodbye to Eleven in Stranger Things Season 5

Meanwhile, in a different interview with Collider before Damsel’s release, Brown was ready to say goodbye to her iconic role, Eleven. Though she knew it would be hard, considering she had played the role for eight years, she ensured the character would leave a piece of her in her that she would continue to cherish for the rest of her life.

Well, I'm really emotional, and I do attach myself to characters. I got the Eleven tattoo, so I always feel like there's gonna be a sense of her with me, and I'll always go back to her for reference. Of course, I wanna grow as an actor and as a person, but of course, that's always gonna be my home and my root to who I was and who I am.

The 20-year-old also thanked Eleven for shaping her into the woman she had become and the actor she wanted to be. She also revealed that the character had been very influential for her as a person and artist.

What to Expect from Stranger Things Season 5

Back in the first season, Matt and Ross told Tudum that they had written a 25-page mythology about the Upside Down. Though they knew what was happening in this different dimension, they wanted it to be “unknowable” and “mysterious.” But as fans already had a glimpse of it and learned quite about this place, they promised more would be revealed in Stranger Things Season 5.

The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5. And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.

Ross also told Variety that the final season would put Will at the center stage, making it his emotional arc that would tie the whole series together. They also described the finale as the “baby” of the previous four seasons, though it was “injected with steroids.”
