Star Wars: The Acolyte is now down to its sixth episode, meaning it only has two episodes left before the show concludes—if it doesn’t receive a second-season renewal. The series still has several loose ends to tie up, from Qimir’s origins, Sith Master, and former Jedi Master to the secret the Jedi are holding about the witches’ death on Brendok.  As the end nears, Manny Jacinto and Amandla Stenberg, who play the roles of Qimir and Osha / Mae, respectively, tease a jaw-dropping finale in a resurfaced interview.

In an interview with The Gate (as shared by X user @RosaLynaLerman), back when they were still promoting The Acolyte, Jacinto and Stenberg answered whether there would be a jaw-dropping moment in the show. Though the two looked skeptical to give anything away, The Hunger Games star eventually broke her silence and revealed it would be the “finale.”

“So much happens, which is very Leslye Headland-esque,” she said.

Stenberg added that there would be things viewers would never anticipate and very traumatic events. With this revelation, the actress couldn’t help but praise showrunner Headland for creating a format and structure that would make sense when the final episode finally aired. Jacinto then chimed in and teased the first four episodes were just the beginning and the first act.

“A lot more jaws to drop,” he added.

Who is Qimir’s former Jedi Master in Star Wars: The Acolyte?

Though The Acolyte Episode 5, Night, made a big reveal about Qimir being The Stranger, the mysterious Master of Mae who trained her to be an assassin, it also left big questions about his personality. The show still has not revealed his origins and Sith Master, but Episode 6, Teach / Corrupt, dropped another major loose end when Qimir told Osha that he was a former Jedi when she noticed he spoke like one. So, if he were a former Jedi, he had a Jedi Master, and there are theories that it could be Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson).

Vernestra has yet to have an important scene in the series, only appearing occasionally as a side character. However, there’s a mystery surrounding this Jedi Master. She looks incredibly worried after learning what happened on Khofar and continuously keeps the details about the matter from the High Council. By the looks of it, Vernestra is holding a big secret she doesn’t want to reveal.

In Episode 6, Osha sees the big scar on Qimir’s back, which doesn’t look like a wound caused by a normal lightsaber. As fans got their first look at Vernestra’s lightwhip, it might be a hint that Qimir’s scar was caused by her weapon, making her probably his former Jedi Master.

Fans are advised to take this assumption with a grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed yet. With only two episodes left, more revelations may be waiting to happen and finally answer fans’ questions.
