We are still waiting for the premiere of Ahsoka later this month, but Rosario Dawson is already looking toward the future. The Mandalorian actor admitted that she hopes the Star Wars series will be renewed immediately. Dawson pointed out that she is eager "to do more" and continue playing Ahsoka Tano.

Rosario Dawson debuted as Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian. Although she only appeared in one episode, fans immediately clamored for more of the Jedi. So it didn't take long before Lucasfilm and Disney decided to give the character her standalone series to focus on her ongoing journey.

For Dawson, it's a journey she never wants to end. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Daredevil star shared her hopes for Ahsoka, admitting that she wants viewers to truly enjoy it so the show will be renewed. Her reason? She wants to keep filming more episodes.

"I really, really hope the fans love it. That means A) we get to do more and B) we’ve honored the legacy of this character and this journey, and I know that’s what we intended to do," Dawson said.

It has been an amazing journey for Ahsoka Tano so far, having originated in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the series of the same name. She even showed up as an adult in Star Wars Rebels, where the final episode confirmed that her adventures are not yet over. With that in mind, we agree with Dawson that Ahsoka should get more seasons after its premiere this month.
