There is little doubt that the Ahsoka finale gave viewers a lot of action as everyone tried to find their way out of Peridea. Although Ezra Bridger finally managed to leave the galaxy, it wouldn't have been possible without the help of Sabine Wren, who finally summoned the Force to push her friend onto Grand Admiral Thrawn's Star Destroyer. However, some people questioned Sabine's sudden ability to use the Force in the finale. On the other hand, several fans defended the Mandalorian's new ability in Episode 8.

In Ahsoka Episode 8, Sabine and Ezra joined Ahsoka Tano as they tried to stop Thrawn from leaving Peridea. However, the Imperial officer had several defenses in place to prevent them from capturing him. Although Sabine and Ezra managed to defeat their opponents, they were still too late to get on the Chimaera. Desperate to ensure Ezra gets on the ship, Sabine urges him to make the jump and promises to push him if he falters. She then uses the Force to push him onto the ship.

It was an awesome move but some people were not completely convinced. After all, Sabine struggled to use the Force throughout the series, and was only able to connect with it in the final episode. People pointed out that it was impossible for Sabine to master the Force so quickly in the finale.

But several Star Wars fans had a simple and comprehensible explanation for the change in the season finale. Sabine's one wish since the premiere was to bring Ezra back home. At that moment in Episode 8, she knew that getting on the Chimaera was the only way to achieve that. Since her purpose was finally clear, Sabine finally managed to tap into the Force and use it to push Ezra onto the ship.

It certainly makes sense and although Sabine managed to get Ezra home, she and Ahsoka still ended up being stuck on Peridea. Perhaps it is now Ezra's turn to try and get them back home in the second season.
