Star Wars: Ahsoka’s most recent installment revealed the truth behind the force-sensitivity of Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s Sabine Wren. The main inquiry over the first two episodes of the Disney+ series was regarding Sabine Wren and whether she can use the Force or not. All through Star Wars Rebels, the character didn’t show any signs of force sensitivity, regardless of directly training with Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus.
In Ahsoka Episode 2, Huyang informed Sabine that her ability with the Force is pretty low for a Padawan, and he’s never seen it before. Fortunately, Episode 3 finally gave audiences a little more insight into this topic. The Mandalorian herself revealed the information regarding the character’s Force-sensitivity. In the episode, Sabine finally tells Ahsoka that she “just can’t use the force” and that she can’t feel it like Ahsoka does.

During the third episode, Ahsoka tells Sabine that “the Force resides in all living things, even you,” which might be a very Jedi thing to say. She continues to say that “talent is a factor” when it comes to using the force but that “training and focus are what truly defines someone’s success.”
Each person in the Jedi Order clearly implied that the Force is in everything, so what Ahsoka said does not actually allude to the rest having the ability to use the Force once trained hard enough. Regardless of Sabine not being able to feel the Force, there has got to be a reason behind Ahsoka choosing Wren as her padawan. It’s pretty clear that Huyang doesn’t see what Lady Tano is seeing, as he highlights Sabine’s ineptness with the Force in Episode 2, which he once again repeats in Episode 3.
Although the character is currently unable to use the Force, there are some implications that she is going to later on in the Star Wars: Ahsoka series. But the real question is if Sabine can be taught how to use the Force, regardless of the level of Force-sensitivity she does or doesn’t have. We'll find out the answer to this as the series progresses, so for now all we got to do is wait.
