Disney+ seems to be choosing a different day for the release of Star Wars: Ahsoka, the upcoming live-action TV show based on the fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano. On July 11, it was reported that the series was scheduled to release its first two episodes on Wednesday, August 23. This would mark the beginning of the exciting eight-episode journey of the Star Wars TV show, which features multiple storylines and characters from Star Wars Rebels.
So far, the critics have shared their positive reactions to the first two episodes of Ahsoka, so the series seems to be looking good so far. The official Ahsoka series page recently shared a post on Twitter, where they revealed that the series’ upcoming episodes will now release on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET instead of Wednesdays at 12:00 a.m. PT, starting on August 22, 2023.
This is a huge change from the usual 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET launch times that were set for Disney+ Star Wars shows and which fans were quite used to. Before these changes in the schedule, Disney+ performed the same tests on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s two-episode release as well as its debut at 9:00 p.m. PT / 12:00 a.m. ET. Following is the entire updated release schedule of Star Wars: Ahsoka:
Episode 1: August 22
Episode 2: August 22
Episode 3: August 29
Episode 4: September 5
Episode 5: September 12
Episode 6: September 19
Episode 7: September 26
Episode 8: October 3
