There is a lot to unpack from Ahsoka Episode 5, from Ahsoka Tano's interactions with her former Master to the cool return of the purrgils. However, nothing seems to compare to the Star Wars show's live-action adaptation of the Siege of Mandalore, which once again gave us a glimpse at the true horrors of war. In addition to that, we got to see a surprise cameo from the star of The Mandalorian.

In Ahsoka Episode 5, Anakin Skywalker tells Ahsoka that he is meant to give her his final lesson. After being defeated by her former Master, Ahsoka relives the worst moments from the Clone Wars. At one point, she ends up in the Siege of Mandalore where she fights the Mandalorian super commandos. Ahsoka also encounters Captain Rex who congratulates her for a job well done and leads his troops to action.

If Captain Rex sounded familiar, that's because he's played by someone we've already seen in the MandoVerse. It was confirmed that The Mandalorian star Temuera Morrison voiced the live-action Rex. Also, we have to commend the Ahsoka team for crediting Rex both as Captain and Commander in this scene.

At this point, we've pretty much lost count of the number of characters Morrison has played in the Star Wars Universe. He originally played Jango Fett and a few Clones (notably Commander Cody) in the Star Wars prequels before taking on the role of Jango's son/clone Boba Fett in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Morrison recently appeared in Obi-Wan Kenobi as a homeless clone trooper.

It's great to know that Temuera Morrison continues to be a major part of the Star Wars Universe and has now played one of the most beloved Clones in the franchise. But will he return as Boba in a possible second season of the series he led? For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether The Book of Boba Fett will get a Season 2. In the meantime, we're glad Morrison is kept busy by continuing to play Jango's clones in numerous Star Wars projects.
