After the return of Agent Nightfall in the previous episode, Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12 will once again see Fiona Frost this time. The upcoming episode will serve as the second season’s finale, and it will mostly feature the Forger family. The anime has released the preview stills for Episode 12, titled Part of the Family, and they mainly focus on Anya and Bond.

The first two Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12 previews feature two different emotions of Anya. She looks to have had an idea in the first one and is angry the next. Loid is next seen out and about and points at something far away. Bond, the family’s dog, takes the scene as he goes into action and seems on the run.

The next still shows Bond thinking of Anya and him together, and they both look happy. For the final preview, Agent Nightfall is back and ready for action while holding her gun and wearing a pair of earmuffs, seemingly on a target shooting.

What to expect from Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12

Based on the new episode’s title, the second season finale may focus on Bond, who is considered a family member. With his excellent addition to the Forgers, Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12 may again establish his importance to the family and his cute dynamic with Anya.

Like Loid, Yor, and Anya, Bond also possesses a special ability. He used to be Subject 8, a dog used for experiments that gave him precognition abilities. This lets him briefly see the future from a few minutes to a few hours. But aside from getting visions in the form of an old TV screen, he can also hear what’s happening in those moments. Fans can notice his ability is active when his ears twitch and perk up.

In the final episode, Bond may use his precognition ability, though it remains to be seen if he will succeed or fail this time. Whatever the case is, viewers can expect Episode 12 to be the perfect ending for the season.

The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo. It started its serialization on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ application and website in March 2019, with 12 tankobon volumes and over 34 million copies in circulation as of December 2023, making it one of the best-selling manga. It’s also published in English in North America by Viz Media.

It was then adapted into anime by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, with the first season premiering on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations in April 2022. It was licensed for release in Asia by Muse Communication and worldwide by Crunchyroll. The second season was released in October 2023. Its first-ever film, Spy x Family CODE: White, will hit Japanese theaters on December 22, 2023, and will be released in the US and other territories in 2024.
