Spy x Family is everywhere, from manga to TV and soon to the big screen. To celebrate the series' upcoming movie adaptation, the franchise, which started with Tatsuya Endo’s manga in 2019, collaborates with the recently released Street Fighter 6. To show fans a glimpse of this much-awaited collaboration, the anime has released a new video that shows Yor Forger and Street Fighter’s first female fighter, Chun-Li, in an epic fight. You can see the clip below:
Created by Wit Studio, the preview begins by showing the iconic Street Fighter backdrop, the Suval’hal Arena stage, before Yor, dressed as the Thorn Princess, enters the scene. Chun-Li then comes in, wearing her signature white-and-blue outfit. As the first round of the fight begins, Chun-Li can be seen throwing some kicks while Yor is doing her best to avoid her moves.
As Yor finally sees an opening to attack, she hits Chun-Li, but the latter manages to jump back. The epic showdown continues, with the two locking legs in a cross in the air. The intense fight makes them smile, though the clip never reveals who wins between the two.

What is SPY x FAMILY CODE: White x Street Fighter 6 collaboration about?
The collaboration project between SPY x FAMILY CODE: White and Street Fighter 6 was officially announced at the recent Anime Expo 2023. Capcom’s illustrator Chisato Mita even drew a visual for Yor and Chun-Li’s match ahead of the collaboration’s release. Following the theme I’m Going to Meet Someone Stronger than Me, it shows the two unbelievably strong women in a battle like no other, while Ryu, Loid, Li-Fen, Anya, and Bond are below them.
Does this mean they will also be in a fight? Many hope so. The collaboration contents will arrive in the in-game development of Street Fighter 6 on January 9, 2024. Alternatively, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White will be released on December 22 in Japan, showing the Yor family going on an adventure to Frigis to learn a special cuisine and perform a new mission to save the world.
Based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga, the series started its serialization in 2019. It’s now considered one of the best-selling manga, with over 31 million copies in circulation. With that success, it was adapted into anime by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, with the first season premiering in April 2022, the second half airing in December 2022, and the second season releasing in October 2023. As its first-ever movie is about to be released, fans are surely looking forward to it. You can click here to see SPY x FAMILY CODE: White's trailer.
