It has been months since a new Spy x Family episode premiered, but the anime remains one of the most popular titles released in recent years. Fans are hyped to see the anime's return for Season 2, and the highly-anticipated anime movie Spy x Family CODE: White, but before the beloved franchise returns to our screens, Spy x Family is getting a deal with Hollywood as the team behind Mission: Impossible just teamed-up with the Forger Family.
As shown in the tweet below, the team behind Spy x Family are helping to promote Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One in Japan, and they did it by remaking the film's classic poster with the Forger Family. The anime replicates the movie's official poster by featuring Spy x Family characters subbing for the film's cast: Loid is subbed for Tom Cruise's role, Ethan Hunt while Yor steps in for Hayley Atwell's new character. Anya can also be seen at the center of the poster.
It's not surprising to see Mission: Impossible pick Spy x Family as a collaboration partner in Japan as the anime is famous for its spy thriller story elements. While Mission: Impossible doesn't have the bizarre mix of comedy and found-family that Spy x Family has, fans of the anime franchise will likely be hyped to watch the latest Mission: Impossible movie in theaters more after seeing this special collaboration.
The next installment of Mission: Impossible marks the franchise's seventh title, and if you want to know what the movie will be about, you can read the synopsis here:
