The official YouTube channel of Aniplex has released a new Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-'s lyric video revisiting the epic fight between protagonist Sung Jin-woo and the powerful Beru, the Ant King, and it features the brilliant new music titled H∅WL by the renowned Japanese composer Hiroyuki SAWANO along with vocals by Aimee Blackschleger and lyrics by cAnON.
The lyric video reminds us of the amazing penultimate episode of Solo Leveling Season 2, which ended on March 29. The season finale saw Jin-woo reach level 100 and significantly expand his powerful Shadow Army. The epic new music gives Attack on Titan vibes, which shouldn't surprise fans of the popular anime/manga franchise as SAWANO also composed music for the TV anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's series.

The first season of Solo Leveling premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024, and Crunchyroll started streaming the English dub version of the anime on January 20. Studio A-1 Pictures, which produced the first season, returned to produce the animation of the second season, with Shunsuke Nakashige as director, and Noboru Kimura as series composer. Tomoko Sudo is in charge of the character designs while Hiroyuki Sawano in composing Season 2's music.
What is Solo Leveling Season 2 about?
Solo Leveling is based on the South Korean portal fantasy web novel series written by Chugong and illustrated by DUBU, which launched on Webtoon services in March 2018 and ended in December 2021. The manhwa and original novel series is being published by Yen Press in English, and the Japanese version is published by Kadokawa under the title Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken (I'm the Only One Who Has Leveled Up).

I t's been over ten years since gates that lead to another dimension have begun appearing across the world. The battles between the magic beasts inhabiting the dungeons through the gates and the human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them show no signs of ending. Ordinarily, a hunter's abilities do not change upon awakening, with their rank never increasing. However, the low-ranked Sung Jin-woo, known as 'The Weakest Hunter of All Mankind,' gained the ability to level up through battle during a raid on a double dungeon.
