Eight years after Chugo’s web novel started its serialization, Solo Leveling will finally be adapted into anime. A-1 Pictures is about to take Sung Jin-Woo’s story to the small screen, and the anime has now released its opening theme preview, featuring its much-awaited world premiere.
The preview introduces the protagonist, Jin-Woo, a weak E-Rank hunter chosen to be part of a magical program. It then presents the anime’s opening theme song artists, Sawano Hiroyuki and Tomorrow x Together, as the track, LEvel, begins to play in the background. From there, a montage of scenes of different characters, like the winking Son Ki-Hoon, an angry Minoru Hoshino, a serious-looking Choi Jong-In, and the dapper Woo Jin-Chul, are seen.
The trailer also features Gina in action, followed by a sequence where Jin-Woo fights the enemies. It also gives a glimpse of Jin-Woo’s human sister, Sung Jinah, and another hunter, Lee Joo-Hee. The preview then reveals Solo Leveling’s world premiere in Tokyo and Seoul on December 10 and Los Angeles on December 14.
