After introducing Sung Jinwoo and the world of Solo Leveling in the premiere episode, it ended with the infamously E-Rank Hunter being trapped in a mysterious dungeon with Lee Joohee and the rest of their group. The anime has released the preview for the upcoming Solo Leveling Episode 2, titled If I Had One More Chance, showing how Jinwoo will find their way out of the dungeon.
The first Solo Leveling Episode 2 preview focuses on Jinwoo’s fierce eyes as he begins to sweat while he seemingly thinks about how they can escape the killing statues. It’s followed by a still of him and the group leader, Song Chi-yul. By the looks of it, the two are planning what to do next.
Johee looks afraid and seems surprised by what she sees before her, as they’ve been continuously trapped in the chamber. A frightened Jinwoo then appears, but he’s determined to save everyone from these brutal creatures despite his fear. For the last preview, a glimpse of the mysterious statue with glistening eyes is revealed.

What to Expect from Solo Leveling Episode 2

Jinwoo almost died again after his group conquered a low-level dungeon. Thankfully, Joohee was with them, and she helped her heal his severe wounds. As they successfully killed all the monsters, they went deeper into the dungeon and found a mysterious temple. Due to their curiosity, many wanted to enter the place despite the refusal of others. Little did they know that death was waiting for them.
Despite looking harmless, with only statues inside, the door suddenly closed to the fear of many. As one of them tried to open it, a statue moved and attacked him, cutting his body in half. Hence, in Solo Leveling Episode 2, Jinwoo and his group will find themselves helpless inside the dungeon as each dies. By the looks of it, the protagonist will finally see his strength to defend himself and others as he finds a way for them to escape.

The anime is based on the South Korean web novel by Chugong. It was first serialized on KakaoPage on July 25, 2016, and was later published fully by D&C Media under their Papyrus label on November 4, 2016. Yen Press published its English version. A webtoon was then serialized on March 4, 2018, with illustrations by Redice Studio CEO Jang Sung-rak, aka Dubu. The first season was released on March 19, 2020, followed by a second season on August 1, 2020. It ended with 179 chapters in December 2021. The webtoon was also licensed in English by Yen Press.
Moreover, after A-1 Pictures adapted the manhwa into anime, with the first episode premiering in January 2024, a Korean drama adaptation is now in the works. A spinoff webtoon titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is also set to premiere in 2024, and a role-playing video game is being developed at Netmarble.
