The first cour of Solo Leveling Season 1 is coming to an end, and to get fans hyped for the premiere of the finale before the anime returns for its second cour later this year, Aniplex has released a new trailer for Episode 12, which is officially titled Arise. A trailer begins with Sung Jinwoo struggle to fight a relentless group of knights, but as the episode title suggests, it looks like his powers will arise to a new level. The eleventh episode, titled A Knight Who Defends an Empty Throne, showed Jinwoo defeating the mysterious knight known as Blood-Red Commander Igris in an intense fight, but his mission in the dungeon is clearly not over yet as a horde of knights spawn out from portals and overwhelm him with their attacks. However, it looks like Episode 12 will turn the tides against the enemies of Jinwoo as he continues to level up to overcome whatever comes his way.
Studio A-1 Pictures is in charge of the animation of Solo Leveling, adapting the webtoon (originally a web novel) by Chugong (original author) and h-goon (adaptation) with art by DUBU (REDICE Studio). The anime is being helmed by director Shunsuke Nakashige.

The official synopsis of Solo Leveling Episode 12 reads:
Despite being cornered, Shun defeats the red knight "Ygritte." Just when he has a moment to catch his breath, a window appears, informing him of a new quest. Shun, exhausted by the endless battle, sees a vision of his former self. In order to overcome his past as "mankind's weakest weapon" and to become a stronger version of himself, he searches for a clue to overcome the job change quest.
