About two weeks after the third season ended, Netflix has finally announced the coming of Single’s Inferno Season 4. After reaching this far, the show has made a major milestone, becoming the first Korean entertainment series to have a fourth season renewal. As many are now waiting to see another batch of singles trying to find their luck in love on the island, here’s everything we know so far.

Single’s Inferno has proven to be successful, topping Netflix’s Global Top 10 (non-English) since it started in 2021. During the first season, it was the first Korean entertainment show to enter the list upon its release. The second season stayed in the same category for four consecutive weeks with 65.08 million views. In addition, the third season surpassed the previous seasons’ success, dominating the list for five straight weeks and topping the Top 10 list in 31 continues.

What to Expect from Single’s Inferno Season 4

Producer Kim Jae-won promised to do their best and ensure Single’s Inferno Season 4 would be even more entertaining. After what happened in the third season, he said they would be paying attention to the fans’ positive and negative feedback this time.

Before the show’s renewal, co-producer Kim Jung-hyun told Korea JoonAng Daily that the next installment might have another format change, just like the third season’s two Infernos. He believed the show might run for more seasons if they continuously differentiated it and tried new themes and tones. As he said, what would happen in the new season would be decided if it received the greenlight; they’re probably now in the works.

Who would host Single’s Inferno Season 4?

The series’ original hosts, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and Hanhae are expected to return to Single’s Inferno Season 4. Of course, this may also include Dex, aka Kim Jin-young, after he joined the show in the third season following being a contestant in the second season.

As his addition added a breath of fresh air to the series, it remains to be seen if a new host will join the group in Single’s Inferno Season 4. However, in a post on Reddit, many want to see Yun Ha-jeong join the panel due to her interesting personality, witty comebacks, and funny comments. Others also want to see Lee Jin-seok for being observant and because of his great humor.
